Kayalvili Jayapragash began her beauty journey at La Sallian Academy, paying just LKR 100 in fees. Within her first year of training, she had already opened her own salon. By 2015, she had become the first Tamil woman in Sri Lanka to win a national gold medal. By 2018, she stood on the OMC World Championship stage in France — and brought home Sri Lanka's first ever medal, raising the national flag for the first time in the event's history.
